The laser industrial revolution and metal additive manufacturing at your service!
Additive manufacturing, also called selective laser melting (SLM) or metal powder sintering, is a manufacturing process by adding successive layers of material. By melting these layers of metallic powder, we obtain a 3D impression of the object. We can therefore create a part directly from its 3D digital representation; it is a revolution that pushes the limits of creativity!
Thanks to the use of metal additive manufacturing, we can even produce very complex parts, while reducing the price and production times and increasing quality compared to industrial manufacturing. You will no longer have long delays when obtaining the prototyping of your parts.
The flexibility of our additive manufacturing machines allows us to produce a large number of very complex parts fully adapted to the particular needs of our customers. Our powders are vacuum packed, protected against corrosion and insulated from each other. We can manufacture from steel, aluminium, nickel-chrome or titanium base powder.
Laser Welding
Laser welding is a welding technique that makes it possible to assemble metal parts using a YAG laser.
The YAG (yttrium aluminium garnet laser) is a type of laser using the YAG crystal as an amplifier medium to create a laser beam capable of working on solid materials. There are many applications, both in the medical field and in industry.
Our YAG laser welding machines make precision welding on complex 2D or 3D shapes of high quality and with great precision possible. The laser beam makes narrow, deep and fast welding possible. The parts thus obtained have no excess thickness and are tested to meet the predefined specifications.
Following laser welding, we also carry out the necessary additional operations such as leakage checks or strength tests, as well as all metallographic analyses.
Laser cutting and drilling
Our laser machines can perform various important tasks: cutting, drilling and marking.
Laser cutting and drilling involves cutting or drilling material with a laser concentrated on a very small surface. The laser cuts we make with our specialised machines are applied to different types of materials, with complex contours that require precise, fast and resistance-free processing. Our method has many advantages, the main one being the machining, without deformation, on parts up to 3 mm thick.
Unlike other technologies, Saturne Technology's laser cutting machines make it possible to produce various shapes. As a result, they can be adapted to both individual laser machining and serial laser machining.
In addition to cutting and drilling, we also perform laser marking. Marking is the numbering of materials with a laser beam. Laser marking is more resistant, more accurate and faster than traditional marking.
With our laser machines, we can drill many materials such as metal, aluminium, steel, sheet metal, plastic, leather, ceramics and many others.
Laser cutting and drilling
Laser cladding is a technology that allows different alloys to be deposited on the surface of mechanical or casting parts.
Fused layers improve the resistance of parts against abrasion, friction, pressure, shock, corrosion or simply for aesthetic reasons. Laser cladding therefore increases the life of the parts and in turn their profitability.
The deposits are made with a head coaxial to the laser beam, allowing fine or large deposits, with a perfect connection to the base material and without stress.
